It is a well known fact that the ultimate goal of Indian philosophy is to get rid of the creatures forever with triple sorrow (trividha dukha). It has been termed as an endless misery of grief, liberation, salvation, Kaivalya, Upvarga, non-discrimination, Nirvana and paramapapa etc. For its accomplishment, we often consider the pure knowledge of all Indian philosophies (other than the Charvak and Mimansa) in some way as indispensable remedy. The Shruthas also accepted the fact of ‘Riti Jnannāna Mukti:’. This pure knowledge of matter has been given in various philosophies by the name of philosophy, samyak knowledge, elemental interview, ultimate knowledge, enlightenment and Vivek gyan etc. One form of this pure wisdom is that which is attained through the purity of the intellectual sense of wisdom, and the second and the best form is that which experiences the ablution of the soul in an instinctive state. The first of these elements is known in the name of ‘Vivek Khaiyati’ in Sankhya Yoga and the second type of element is known in the form of ‘Asmprajanya Yoga‘ in philosophy yoga scriptures. The process of acquiring both types of purification is very complex. The creative form of this binary process is described in Patanjali Yoga philosophy.
